Stuffed Animal Eyes

The unicorn on the left has felt eyes, these are considered safer for children under 3. They are just a piece of felt that is glued to the animal. I tend to use these more often because in my research i have discovered that a small piece of felt, if it were to end up in a small child’s mouth, is less likely to obstruct an airway than a hard safety eye. The unicorn on the right has safety eyes. The idea behind safety eyes is that they are designed to NOT come out, (check out google for a better idea of what the entire safety eye looks like) but in the event that one did, it would be dangerous. Safety eyes are in just about every stuffed animal everywhere. And on that animal there is a tag somewhere saying something like this. So here on my page i wanted to talk a little about the difference and let my valued customers know that its always important to inspect toys regularly for damage and know that i, as the maker am doing my best to give you a safe product and keep you informed about it!
